BMG – Senior Finance Manager (UK)

We are looking for a Senior Financial Director to support BMG’s Recording Finance business within its London-based global hub. The role is responsible for UK based revenue and cost reporting and control, covering BMG’s Worldwide Hub Recordings distribution and licensing business.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and experienced in both handling detailed general ledger postings and producing financial reports and commentaries for presentation to senior management.

Your responsibilities.
  • Support frontline and catalog business by providing insight into global revenues and costs flowing through the UK based records hub.
  • Support the growing volume of data flowing through the hub, including working with the VP of International Finance to ensure smooth onboarding of new partner accounts and other extended services.
  • Creation and distribution of inter-company matrices for the main sources of income.
  • Perform and distribute cross-company matrix recharges for major cost sources.
  • Management of the performance and development of an accounting assistant – role of records center
  • Prepare and perform detailed journal entries for hub matrices in SAP.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts relating to hub matrices.
  • Provide summary reports and feedback based on monthly matrix outputs.
  • Be the first point of contact to handle requests and queries from other BMG territories regarding hub activity.
  • Respond to accounting and reporting requests from the local records team and other international affiliates
  • Work to streamline existing Hub processes and systems.
  • Support central inventory management and financial control of the global manufacturing agreement
  • Financial control of the activity of the global recordings licensing team
Your profile.
  • Previous experience building reports and modeling spreadsheets
  • Friendly and responsive, with the ability to work with people in all areas of the business
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to process large volumes of data
  • Must have ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of database structures
  • SAP experience is desirable
  • Audit experience an advantage
