CAP Plc appoints Ada Aniagu, CFO of Portland Paints, as CFO
The Board of Directors of Chemical Allied Products Plc has announced the appointment of Portland Paints Chief Financial Officer Ada Aniagu as the company’s financial controller effective February 20, 2021.
According to the information contained in the statement issued by CAP, Aniagu will assume all the responsibilities and obligations of the former CFO.

About the incoming CFO
According to information on the Portland Paints website;
- CAP Plc’s new CFO, Ms. Aniagu is a seasoned finance professional with over 11 years of corporate experience in the areas of internal and external audit, taxation, management and financial accounting and reporting, as well as budget planning and control and project management.
- She joined the UAC group in 2019, as CFO for UPDC Hotels Limited (UHL). Prior to UHL, she was Financial Controller for Transcorp Hotels Calabar Limited for over 6 years, providing strategic leadership and championing the repositioning of the hotel’s finances towards profitability.
- Ada who is an active member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), holds an Upper Second Class Diploma in English and Literary Studies from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business and is currently completing a program of MBA with Edinburgh. Business School, UK.

In addition, the company announced the resignation of Abiola Odeyemi, as CFO.
