Group Finance Manager – BusinessGhana

Ensure the strategic and operational management of the Sales & Marketing unit of the Group’s network of radio and television stations.
Maintain and update the Group’s accounting records in accordance with international standards and best accounting practices.
Prepare budget, forecast and develop other financial business plans and ensure effective implementation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Prepare final accounts for the group.
Perform financial risk assessment and management to enable management to make informed decisions.
Evaluate, decide and seek approval from Superior or its representative on investment opportunities.
Supervise and lead the unit finance and accounting team.
Allocate resources and manage cash flow.
Perform a benefit and cost analysis.
Develop and secure systems to store confidential information.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the effective operation of the unit.
Ensure that all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations and standards.
Recommend prudent financial management and cost reduction solutions.
Liaise with external entities (including financial) and other regulatory bodies as required by law.
Be responsible for coaching, mentoring, resourcing and motivating the finance and accounting team into a high performing and productive team.
Prepare and submit analytical and comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to Superior and/or other stakeholders in accordance with approved company standards.
Perform other work-related tasks that may be assigned by the superior or his replacement as needed.
In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and accounting.
