Kirby-Smith Machines Inc. (KSM) promoted JP Cotton to West Texas CFO. Cotton will work with regional customers to secure financing for their equipment, using the company’s extensive network of lending partners. He brings to this position more than 15 years of combined experience in heavy equipment and finance. Cotton will be working in Lubbock, Texas, where the heavy equipment distributor’s new facility is slated to open in early fall 2019.

Cotton has been working for KSM since 2017. Prior to his promotion, he was Territory Manager for Heavy Equipment in Odessa, providing customers with efficient equipment solutions to meet their application needs. Cotton first met KSM while he was regional manager for Werk-Brau, where he focused on building relationships with resellers across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Brunswick.
